Chapter Competition Team to be Formed
Perrin Long will put forwarded a motion at the September meeting
to form a
Chapter Junior Competition Team for ACF Piscataqua Chapter for the
purpose
of entering a team in the NH State ACF Junior Team Championship.
To be
considered for the team, you must be an eligible (paid) Junior Member
of the
ACF through July of 2009. Any recent graduates of local culinary
schools
who are still ACF junior members of our chapter with sufficient
experience
and students at Portsmouth High School are eligible to try out for
the team
in September.
I will be looking
for assistance in coaching the team and our chapter will
need to vote on whether they approve of forming the team and possibilities
for funding such an endeavor.
