portal, www.WeAreChefs.com
This new web
site is a place where culinarians can communicate with fellow
chefs, as well as create their own blog, create a group, participate
in
discussion forums and upload pictures and videos.

own account;

Click the "Sign
Up" link on the right side of the page, and follow the
instructions for creating your account.
To invite friends
or colleagues to join you.
1. After you
have created an account you can use the "Invite" link,
in
the menu below the "We Are Chefs" banner, to invite your
chapter members,
and other chefs you feel may be interested in creating their own
culinary
blog.
2. After signing
into www.WeAreChefs.com <http://www.wearechefs.com/>
look in the box on the right hand side of the page for the link
called
"Invite More" or click on the navigation item "My
Page" and you will see
"Invite Friends" on the top right of the page.
3. After clicking
the link you will see a page with the words "Invite to
'We Are Chefs'"
4. Follow the
instructions on the screen to either enter the email
addresses in manually and add a brief message inviting your members.
5. Or import
the addresses from your Web Address book or other mail
program.
To create a
Group
1. After you
have logged in, click the "Groups" link in the menu below
the
"We Are Chefs" banner.
2. Click the
"Create a Group" link.
3. Enter the
information for your group including a group name and
description. You
can choose to
let anyone join your group, or restrict membership to people
you invite. After you've
finished choosing
the options you want, click the "Create Group" button.
4. If there
are specific people you want to invite to join your group, enter
their e-mail addresses and a
message and
click the "Send Invitations" button.
5. Click the
"Groups" link in the menu below the "We Are Chefs"
banner
again, and you should see your
group listed.
Click on your group's name.
6. You can now
start a discussion, post a general purpose note on the
"Comment Wall," or use the "Edit"
buttons to adjust
your group's information.
Note: you can
use the other links on your group's page to invite more people
and manage your group's
operations.
To create a
Blog
1. After you
have logged in, click the "My Page" link in the menu below
the
"We Are Chefs" banner.
2. Click the
"My Blog" link.
3. Click the
"Add Blog Post" link.
4. Use the form
to write a blog entry! Click the "Publish Post" button
when
you are done.
